The Department of Philosophy at Georgetown University and the Ordered Universe Project based at Durham University (UK) are pleased to announce a conference “Aspectus and Affectus: Robert Grosseteste, Understanding and Feeling,” and a public lecture “Modern Science, Medieval Studies and Art in Dialogue: Bishop Robert Grosseteste’s (ca 1170-1253) Scientific World of Light, Sound and the Big Bang”. Both the conference and public lecture are open to the public.
