As part of our ambitious strategy for research, innovation and knowledge exchange, Bishop Grosseteste University is pleased to announce our second round of PhD studentships in our ‘Future Research Leaders’ programme. We are offering up to six full time studentships in History and Education to commence in Summer 2017. One of these will be offered on the topic of Robert Grosseteste and the science of learning. Holders of a studentship will receive a bursary of £14,000 per year plus tuition fees for up to four years to study at BGU. The PhD is awarded by the University of Leicester under our validation partnership. It will be supervised in part by Dr Jack Cunningham (Academic coordinator for Theology and member of the Ordered Universe Project).
